Meshtastic: let's build a network together
A LoRa mesh radio network - we'll build, flash, and launch it together.
Meshtastic is an open decentralized communication system built on LoRa radio modules. No internet, no carrier, no central server - just nodes relaying messages between each other.
At the workshop:
- We'll learn how LoRa and Meshtastic work
- We'll assemble the devices - the board is already prepared, we'll fit it into a 3D-printed case
- We'll flash the firmware together
- We'll test the network right here in the space
Every participant leaves with their own device and becomes a node in Vilnius's Meshtastic network.
