ConTempo 2026 | Tarptautinis scenos menų festivalis
◯ PASAULIO SCENA IŠ ARTI
Rugpjūčio 1–9 d. ConTempo festivalis sugrįžta ir šiemet dar kartą kvies pasaulio sceną patirti iš arti. Festivalio programoje susitiks šokis, teatras, šiuolaikinis cirkas ir performansas iš Lietuvos bei užsienio, o miesto erdvės trumpam taps vieta netikėtiems susitikimams, gyvoms patirtims ir istorijoms, kurios prasideda scenoje, bet nesibaigia jai pasibaigus.
Pasirodymai persikels į miesto gatves, viešąsias erdves, gamtą ir netikėtas lokacijas – nuo industrinių teritorijų ir miesto aikščių iki parkų, miškų bei erdvių, kuriose scena įprastai neatsiranda. Vieni pasirodymai kvies sustoti miesto centre, kiti – pakelti akis į 10 metrų aukštį ar trumpam pabėgti nuo kasdienio ritmo gamtos apsuptyje. Dalis festivalio programos šiemet keliaus ir į Visaginą, Kaišiadoris bei Užutrakį, kur kviesime gyventojus į netikėtus susitikimus su menu ir patirtis, prasidedančias nuo smalsumo tiesiog užsukti ir pažiūrėti.

◯ THE WORLD STAGE UP CLOSE
From August 1–9, the ConTempo Festival returns to Kaunas, once again inviting audiences to experience the world stage up close. The programme will bring together dance, theatre, contemporary circus, and performance works from Lithuania and abroad, while city spaces will temporarily transform into places for unexpected encounters, live experiences, and stories that continue long after the performance ends.
The performances will take place on city streets, in public spaces, in nature, and at unexpected locations—from industrial areas and city squares to parks and spaces where stages are not usually found. Some performances will invite you to stop in the city center, others to look up 10 meters high or briefly escape the daily grind and immerse yourself in nature. Part of this year’s festival programme will also travel to Visaginas, Kaišiadorys, and Užutrakis, where we will invite residents to unexpected encounters with art and experiences that begin with the simple curiosity to just stop by and take a look.
