Kauno kultūros centre – žmogus, lazda ir televizorius. Tai meistriškas balanso performansas, kuriame fone esantis ekranas ironiškai komentuos kiekvieną atlikėjo judesį, diktuodamas taisykles publikai ir paversdamas paprastą fizinį iššūkį nenuspėjamu minties žaidimu.

Spektaklis vyks lietuvių kalba su vertimu į anglų kalbą
„Stickman“ – tai performansas, kuriame dalyvauja žmogus, lazda ir televizorius. Atlikėjas balansuoja lazdą ant įvairių, kartais nepatogių savo kūno dalių, taip išjudindamas tiek save, tiek lazdą. Jei atlikėjui kyla kokia mintis, jis ją pasilieka sau. Lazda, savo ruožtu, yra judinama ir balansuojama atlikėjo ir, regis, neturi ką pasakyti šiuo klausimu.
Televizorius tyliai tūno fone ir viso pasirodymo metu komentuoja, ką daro žmogus ir lazda, taip nurodydamas toną, kaip pasirodymą gali suprasti publika. O ši sėdi savo vietose ir bando suspėti su nuolat kintančiomis žaidimo taisyklėmis. Televizorius į publiką kreipiasi: „ŽIŪROVAI“.
„Stickman“ – tai santykio su prasme, empatija ir veikimo laisve tyrinėjimas.

At the Kaunas Cultural Center: a man, a stick, and a television. This is a masterpiece of balancing act, in which the screen in the background ironically comments on every movement of the performer, dictating the rules to the audience and transforming a simple physical challenge into an unpredictable game of wits.

Stickman is a performance which features: a man, a stick and a television.
The man balances the stick on various, and sometimes awkward, parts of his body thereby setting himself and the stick in motion. If the man has an agenda he keeps it to himself.
The stick gets moved around and balanced by the man and seems to not have much to say on the matter.
The television lurks in the background and throughout the performance comments and puts titles on whatever the man and stick are doing, thus dictating what the audience sees.
The audience sit on their seats and try to keep up with the ever changing rules of play.
The TV calls them ‘WATCHERS’.
Stickman is an exploration of our relationships with meaning, empathy and agency.
